Standing is a skill that comes so easily to other kiddos but Caleb has to work a lot harder to do those simple skills. He has started standing in the last couple of weeks (while leaning on the couch) and that is a huge milestone for him and we are thrilled. This is a picture of Caleb working with Chris (physical therapist). What do you think of those lumberjack boots? They give him some extra support in the ankles and I think they look pretty cute. We are so proud of our big boy!
Do we have a future guitar player on our hands? Maybe. If Caleb is musically gifted, he didn't get it from Glenn or I (although I did play the clarinet in the 6th grade). Whether he is really a rock star in the making we don't know, but he did enjoy playing with Great-Grandpa Ron's guitar over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Saturday was a gorgeous fall day in Texas. Glenn, Caleb and I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather so we headed to the park, with camera and camcorder in hand. Caleb had so much fun playing with the leaves, he would concentrate so hard on each individual leaf, it was almost impossible to get him to look up at the camera! As you can see we still managed to get some good pictures of him. We think he is absolutely gorgeous and so photogenic (of course we are a little biased). It was a great afternoon spent at the park. It's amazing how fun free entertainment can be when you have a child. Caleb had a great time being outside and sitting in the leaves and Glenn and I had an absolute ball just watching him. He is such a joy!
