Three Musketeers

Watch out world, here comes Caleb, Ethan, and Bryce! The Three Musketeers had a playdate at the mall this morning and it was very eventful. Bryce was Mr. Independent and insisted on going into almost every store, especially the jewelry store. Caleb was kinda grouchy and tired, he cried the entire time. Ethan just went with the flow, very laid-back and content. It was quite a sight with 3 little boys rolling around the mall in their mobile standers. Fellow shoppers didn't know what to think about our boys. It was a very busy morning for us all. Caleb was exhausted and fell fast asleep before I even got on the highway. I am so glad to have found these other moms and their boys. I've only just met these ladies but they have already been a huge blessing to me. It is hard having a child with special needs but connecting with others really helps to lighten the load. Thank you Ladies!

Spring Weather

Caleb and I had to take advantage of the beautiful spring-like weather yesterday. I can't believe it was in the 30's last week! This Texas weather is crazy! Caleb enjoyed the fresh air after being cooped up indoors with a nasty cold last week. Caleb sat and played with some of his favorite toys while I planted some flowers. He was very interested in what I was doing and he offered to help but I didn't think he should play with a big bag of Miracle Grow. Isn't he gorgeous? Have you ever seen anything as beautiful as that sweet face? I can't believe he is already 18 months old. He has completely lost that baby look and has become a little boy. It is such a cliche but it is so true, they really do grow up fast. I am blown away by how much he has grown and how bright he is. He is so smart and so sweet. He may be the most good-natured toddler in the world. He is wonderful.

Finger Painting!

Caleb played with finger paints for the first time today. He wasn't shy about getting those sweet hands dirty, he stuck them straight in the paint and went right to it. Of course painting on the paper wasn't enough, he had to get plenty on his face (and clothes, and mommy and the highchair) as well. It was such a mess for mommy to clean up but Caleb had a good time and that is all that matters. So, Caleb's first masterpiece is proudly displayed on the fridge. Isn't he a cutie?!
