We drove out to Ennis yesterday to take some pictures in the Bluebonnet Fields. It is a long drive but it is well worth it. It is absolutely beautiful out there, I have never seen so many Bluebonnets, it looked like a big blanket of flowers. It was pretty warm yesterday so Caleb started sweating almost as soon as we got him out of the car, but he was a trooper and smiled for pictures anyway. We got some really good pictures of Caleb, he is just so photogenic! I don't think there is such a thing as a bad picture of Caleb. Check out the Bluebonnet picture from last year. Look at how much Caleb has changed, he was a "baby" (8 months) then and now he is a "little boy" (20 months). Look how chubby he was last year! So cute! He is just too beautiful.

While we were visiting MeMe & PaPa we decided to have a little Easter Egg Hunt for Caleb. I hid some eggs on the back patio and Caleb just rolled around in his stander finding all the eggs. It was just a fun game for him, picking eggs up and putting them in the basket. He wasn't crazy about the sun in his eyes so we had to get his shades out of the car. MeMe & PaPa enjoyed seeing Caleb in his mobile stander, he has really gotten good at maneuvering it around to where he wants to go. Caleb had a great time at MeMe and Papa's this weekend. All the attention really wears him out. He took some of the longest naps while we were there, why doesn't he do that at home? I could get so much done if he napped like that here! Anyway, he was the center of attention for 4 days and he loved it (of course he is always the center of attention).
This is such a great picture. This was taken at a family wedding over the weekend. I jumped at the chance to get a picture of 4 generations of McLelland men. What a treasure to have this picture. Caleb is so blessed to have such a large and loving family. And would you look at how grown-up Caleb looks in this picture. He is such a big boy in his white button down shirt. Have I ever mentioned that he is absolutely gorgeous? I mean look at him! Those blue eyes are going to win the ladies over, they already do! And he is such a good boy, so sweet. I just want to eat him up!
We went out of town for a few days to visit Caleb's great-grandparents (MeMe & PaPa). Whenever we stay there we give Caleb his bath in the kitchen sink. He just looks so cute that I had to post some of these pictures. I love the picture where Caleb is looking at his hands. He is just so cute. And look at that big smile. This boy smiles with his entire face, how wonderful is that! He has a personality that people are just drawn to. He is so beautiful.
Caleb had a playdate at his friend Bryce's the other day and here are some pictures from that. Caleb enjoyed swinging and sitting in the grass. Somehow I managed to only take pictures of Caleb so I have none of Bryce and Cash. I get so wrapped up in how darn cute Caleb is that I forget to take pictures of other people!! I promise to include pictures of Caleb's friends when he has his next playdate.
