Bowl-A-Thon

We went to the annual Bowl-A-Thon fund raiser for our local Spina Bifida chapter yesterday. It was Caleb's first time bowling and he had an absolute blast! He was so excited to be there. They had these ramps that Caleb could push his bowling ball down, it was really neat. Caleb's favorite thing was when the bowling balls came up the shoot, he got a huge kick out of that. I want to thank everyone who donated money for this event. Because of everyone's generosity we were able to raise $730 for the Spina Bifida Association of North Texas! This organization means a lot to us so we really appreciate your support.

The plague of hail

Ok, so maybe it wasn't as bad as the plague of hail in Exodus 9 but we got hit hard tonight. I have to admit that I was more than a little worried. The hail was only about the size of a grape but it was coming down hard, fast and VERY loud! I really thought a window was going to shatter any second. Even with all the commotion, would you believe that our precious Caleb slept through the entire thing! I had to go make sure he was still alive because I couldn't believe that he wasn't awake screaming in absolute terror! Anyway we got a couple of good pictures, the hail covered our yard like snow...I've never seen anything like it.

Under the weather

Caleb's been a little under the weather the past couple of days. He started running a fever yesterday and he has some congestion and cough. This picture is from this morning. All he wanted to do was lounge on the couch and watch his favorite shows. He eventually got down on the floor to play but I could tell that he wasn't feeling like himself. Hopefully he will get to feeling better soon, it is no fun when he doesn't feel good.

At the park

Here are a couple of pictures of Caleb at the park yesterday. He really enjoyed being outside and playing on the playground. He sat in the swing for about 2 seconds and then wanted out. He did wander around in his chair for a little while but he was more interested in getting out of it so he could play.

Static Electricity

We went to Grandpa's house this afternoon. Caleb got to see his Aunt Taylor, Aunt Morgan, and Uncle Connor too. We took Caleb outside to play on their trampoline and Caleb got a ton of static electricity in his hair, every strand of his hair was standing straight up. It was pretty funny.
