Caleb and his construction truck chair were a huge hit at our church's Hallelujah Carnival. I have to admit that I was pretty proud of his chair. I think I was more excited about showing it off than Caleb was. It was some work putting it all together but it was more than worth it. Caleb had an absolute blast and everyone had to stop and compliment his chair. Even strangers wanted to take pictures of Caleb in his decked-out chair. Of course now I am concerned that we have set the bar kinda high and I'm wondering how we can top this next year. I better start thinking of something!
Caleb had a Halloween Party at his school today. I was able to go and help out with some of the crafts. It was so fun watching Caleb at school, he seems to really enjoy himself. He did several Halloween crafts today and the class got some special treats. I was able to meet the physical therapist as well and I got to watch Caleb do some walking with his braces and walker. The PT lets Caleb walk to one of the kindergarten classes and say "hi" to all the kids. It was great watching him walk down the halls, saying "hi" to anyone and everyone that walked by. The goal is to get him using his braces and walker more and more in the classroom. He just works so hard, I was so proud of him.

I took this picture before Caleb went to school this morning. I just thought he looked so adorable and so grown up in his sweater and jeans. He is just growing up so fast. He is doing great at school, his teachers are absolutely wonderful. Caleb is talking like crazy...it is non-stop talking...all the time! He seems very interested in the baby in my belly. He likes to put his hand on my tummy so he can feel his baby brother "kick" him. It is terribly cute. We think he is going to be a very good big brother.
I bought Caleb some gloves yesterday and he absolutely loves them. He wants to wear them all the time...even though they make his hands sweaty! It's not easy getting his fingers in the right places though, we tend to have two fingers stuck together in the same place.

We took our annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch yesterday afternoon. I swear the older Caleb gets the harder it is to get him to look at the camera. We did manage to get a few good shots anyway. Glenn thinks Caleb is getting too old to for these kind of photo ops but I think it is cute and I'll be dragging our boys to the Pumpkin Patch when they are teenagers! A few of you have asked when the baby is due and the actually due date is February 17th but my c-section is scheduled for February 10th. And no we don't have a name picked out yet but we are working on it.

I had an ultrasound this morning so I thought I would post some of the pictures. I know some of you will have no clue what you are looking at but I'm going to try and explain what each picture shows. The first picture shows the top of his head and to the right you can see two little hands. The middle picture is a 3D shot of the side of his head, you can see that his hands are right by his face and you can also see a cute little ear. The last picture is more of a front shot, his face is on the left. Everything continues to look good. It is definitely a boy, we have seen his "boy parts" 3 times now so we are certain it is a boy. He is growing good and moving like crazy. His spine and brain both look great, still no signs of Spina Bifida or any problems for that matter. We are so excited to meet our new son and Caleb's little brother.

Caleb is certainly feeling better these days, back to his normal ornery self. Yesterday he wanted to ride on his "motorcycle" and he wanted his two bears to ride with him (he got those bears at the hospital). For some reason he likes to put his backpack over his head and then he will crawl around and crash into the wall...I guess this is normal behavior. I've noticed recently that Caleb almost never has on pants in the pictures I post. I promise the boy owns some britches, I guess he just doesn't wear them around the house much. I guess it's ok to be without pants when you are 3 years old.

I think most of you know that Caleb was in the hospital for a few days this week. He got a urinary tract infection over the weekend and even with antibiotics it turned into a kidney infection. So, we had to take him to the ER and he was admitted into the hospital. Even though he was sick, he was still his sweet, cute self. We tried to keep him as entertained as possible by taking him to the playroom, where he got to paint a pumpkin and play with some toys. He did amazingly well considering he was stuck in a hospital bed for 3 days. He is always such a trooper. Probably more of a trooper than either Glenn or I. We were pretty sick of being in the hospital and we were certainly sick of the hospital food! Plus Glenn and I had to share a tiny bed, which isn't easy, especially when you are 21 weeks pregnant! Anyway, we are home now and Caleb is doing much better. Thank you to those of you who said prayers for our boy.
