Fall Festival

Caleb's school had their "Fall Festival" this afternoon.  Here are a few pictures from that.

Yes, we got a leash child safety harness for Benjamin.  After that trip to the zoo a couple of months ago, we decided that we needed one.  Today was our first time to use it, and Benjamin didn't seem bothered by it at all.  He loved having the freedom to just walk around.

The very first thing Caleb wanted to do was the "cake walk".  He was so excited about the "cake walk".  We even did several pretend cake walks when we got home.  He wanted me to sing a song while he walked in circles and they I had to pretend to give him a cake.  Cracked me up.

Caleb got his face painted.  His choice...a spider web and a big black spider.  He thought it was pretty cool.

They had these game trucks outside where kids could play the Wii.  Caleb couldn't pass up the opportunity to play Mario Kart.  He loves that game and, of course, that was the inspiration for his costume last weekend.

Benjamin has a monkey on his back!

Caleb also got to do some sand art.  He had a lot of fun with that.

I think his favorite part was the dunking booth (I don't have any pictures of that).  His P.E. teacher was being dunked and Caleb thought that was the funniest thing he had ever seen.  He just watched the Coach get dunked over and over.  Caleb had a lot of fun, he cried when it was time to go.  I guess crying when it is time to leave means he was having fun?

We used the harness for our Caleb who is almost 6 now. It helps when you have a runner; keeps them safe!
