Caleb is so in to nature right now, especially birds. He loves birds, he loves watching birds and learning about birds. He sat at the table before lunch with a bird book in his hands while he watched the many birds outside the window. Granny and Paw-Paw have a wide variety of birds in their yard and Caleb loved it. He could not get enough.
Peek-a-boo, I see you.
Caleb quietly and patiently waiting for the birds to visit the feeder.
Every time we visit Granny and Paw-Paw I envy all the space they have. Space outside. Space to play safely. Space to ride a bike or play basketball. The boys just loved all the freedom and space they had. I think I need to move out to the country. I want all that space.
We got to see some precious baby goats. They were only a few days old.
Is this not the cutest thing you have every seen?
I really want a baby goat now.
I can't stand how cute these babies are.
I need a baby goat.
Granny and Paw-Paw have 2 dogs that the boys adore. I think seeing the dogs are the highlight of every visit. I think the dogs like the attention too.
Nikki is practically sitting on Caleb. He loved it.
Lots of hugs.
More hugs...or a headlock.
Caleb tried to shoot hoops while we were there but Sadie was obsessed with the basketball. Caleb mostly tried to keep Sadie from snatching the ball.
Too much outdoor fun wears a 5 year old out. He came and cuddled up with me for a few minutes to recharge his battery. I love those precious little freckles on his precious little nose.
Battery recharged, time to bike ride.
It's a shame Caleb isn't having any fun.
Thanks Granny and Paw-Paw (Nikki and Sadie too) for a great time!
