WCMX

We took the boys to a WCMX event this past Saturday. They were excited to hit the ramps...and see Wheelz in action.

He's wheelie awesome!

This kid was non-stop on the ramps too. He was such a blur the entire time I could barely get a single picture of him.
Watching Wheelz do his stuff.

He is so fun to watch.

WCMX

A few pictures from WCMX this past week. As usual, both boys had a blast on the ramps.

Practicing wheelies. He's kinda a pro at this already. He scares the mess out of me daily.

My little scooter boy.

He's getting ready to sail down this ramp. I just close my eyes and hold my breath.

WCMX and scooter ridin'!

We took the boys out to the skate ramps again this week.

Benjamin was all over the place with his scooter. He had so much fun.

He got brave and attempted some new ramps this week.

I love how his little curls are peeking out from his helmet.

Caleb isn't a daredevil usually (which is so fine with me) but even he attempted some new ramps.

Love this. Love him.

Showin' off.

WCMX

The boys hit the ramps again last night. I love that we have WCMX so close to us. It's such a fun sport and I love watching all the kids get on the ramps. We are very blessed to have RISE Adaptive Sports in our area.

All suited up and ready to go.

As always, Benjamin makes his own fun on the ramps.

He's so cool...he knows it too.

Benjamin decided to get his own set of wheels this time. He took that scooter all over the place. He is now asking for his own skateboard.

Some fast flying down the ramps.

WCMX

Caleb got the chance to hit the ramps yesterday. He had a blast of course.

A little warm up beforehand.

Benjamin had his own kind of fun. We brought his scooter but he was content just running up the ramps.

Look at that smile....well, you can't really see his mouth very well but his eyes say it all.

Preparing for his American Ninja Warrior audition.

Shreddin' with WCMX

It's been awhile but we managed to get Caleb to another WCMX clinic last week.

"Look ma, no wheelie bar!"

We've been letting Caleb use his wheelchair without the wheelie bar attachment. He's nine so it's about time (maybe past time) for us to ditch the bar. He has spent quite a bit of time wheeling around our house with a helmet on while he practices. He is doing amazing. It gives me a heart attack of course. I just try not to watch. He loves not having it on though because he can really wheelie far back. Plus I think he likes scaring me.

While Bubba was shreddin' on the ramps, Benjamin was running around like a maniac. This boy is pure energy folks. Seriously.

Love him.

Caleb did tackle one rather large ramp (at least large in this momma's eyes) but I didn't get a picture of it. I couldn't watch because I was so afraid he would tip backwards without his bar on. He didn't of course. He did great...as usual.

WCMX with Rise Adaptive Sports

After a very successful WCMX event in April, Rise Adaptive Sports (a local organization that sponsors a variety of adaptive sports-they are amazing!) decided to start regular WCMX clinics. They had the first clinic last night.

Boy wasted no time getting on the ramps.

This is what I get when I say "Hey Benjamin, smile for the camera". Stinker.

Sizing up the ramp.

While the kids got plenty of free time to just play on ramps, they also met with an instructor to practice specific skills and techniques. I love that.

Benjamin and daddy had their own fun on the ramps.

Checking out the half pipe. I have no idea how Glenn got up there. Seriously, no clue.

Benjamin is training to be on America Ninja Warrior (my boys love that show!) He's working hard to get up that warped wall (if you watch Ninja Warrior then you will get that reference).

This was a crazy big ramp...at least to this momma's eyes. Caleb raced down it as I held my breath.

My boys.
